16 years ago Natasha converted to Islam. Three years later, following the birth of her daughter Amina, she decided to start wearing the Hijab. Today at thirteen, it is Amina’s turn to wear it but she has doubts... Natasha and her daughter set out on a quest to find out more about the tradition and its meaning, meetings Muslim women from different backgrounds. As they progress, Natasha's perception of her religion is shaken in ways she had never anticipated.

I Wear the Veil is a moving introspective documentary, a mother's quest for her own identity and religion as an occidental Muslim woman.
