Thomas (Jonathan Zaccaï), a reserved man, has spent a few months in Quebec. Mary Ann (Evelyne Brochu) is a mother stuck in the monotony of her life after being abandoned by her husband following a series of violent domestic disputes. As Thomas embarks on his journey to the north of Canada, their lives become intertwined following the hit and run of a local Amerindian teenage boy. He then delays his return to Switzerland to seek justice. Their search will force each other to confront their own painful memories and ultimately seek forgiveness.
