Seal Stories: Between Land and Sea is a documentary film about the harbour seals of the gaspésie region in Québec. The film follows Harold Arsenault, a wildlife filmmaker who has photographed exotic animals all around the world - but who decides to come home to document these fascinating creatures that live in his own backyard. As Harold grapples with the challenges of underwater filmmaking (a task he hasn’t practiced in two decades), he learns to live among the seals. From the birth of seal pups to the rituals of mating season and the rhythm of their hunts, Harold invites us to witness intimate moments in the lives of these remarkable animals.
