Seals of Sable

52' | English Version | 4K

Set against the backdrop of legendary Sable Island, Nova Scotia, we meet the world's largest breeding colony of grey seals. Every winter, thousands of female seals swim to the remote shores of Sable to give birth to almost 80,000 pups! Huge males arrive as well, ready to fight for mating rights. However, the seals aren't alone – a team of  researchers are on a quest for information about the seals‘ deep ocean food foraging  habits, but can their underwater cameras survive six weeks of seal life in the briny  deep?
